 Dublin University's First Team have had a stable start to the new year with 4 wins and 3 defeats and a draw at Donore FC. Currently 5th they sit 3 points behind Leixlip United, with whom they drew earlier 1-1 in December. Apline Express and CYM Terenure are following close behind, with Alpine Express having the upper hand having won the opening game to the season 3-2 and more recently 3-1 last January. With 4 games left in hand the most Dublin University's First Team could hope for is a 4th Place Finish, given they win against UCD and Leixlip United. Unfortunately not much news could be found about DUAFC's Freshers Squad, but Trinity Corinthians are doing well in the United Churches Football League with just 2 losses in the last 6 games losing to Clontarf Athletic and Amber Celtic at home. They are currently 4th trailing by just 1 point to Amber Celtic but with 4 games in hand Trinity Corinthians could realistically challenge for 2nd place, it's all up to them! It has been a shakey year trying to bring DUAFC up and running online but hopefully everything will be running smoothly soon. | |
